When Refused an Image is a photographic diptych installed on opposing walls. In an effort to bring attention to what is perceived when our vision is limited, the viewer must turn their back on one photograph in order to see the other. On one wall, an image of a saturated window screen that both blocks and exhaustively reveals the view of the other side. On the other wall, a cumulous cloud heavy with rain.
